I am feeling very grateful right now. I know that when people go on a little spiritual run of words it can feel somewhat fake or monotonous. But, I really feel very grateful in many ways.

I very much love to think about things. There are so many things to study and contemplate that I feel very lucky and grateful to be able to look and search and learn about anything. And, thanks to Wikipedia, it can easily be a hobby for anyone. Maybe we should call it wikipedianology. Or just the study of everything basically. There isn't really a correct English word for it. So, for now, it's just going to be called Wikipedianology.

But, to continue on this post, I am very grateful for the abilities that I have to study, experience and learn whatever I would like to. The hard part is... actually doing it. This morning, as was the same as the past few mornings, I haven't woken up until about 10AM. I have been rather lazy this last week and it seems like I haven't really successfully lived up to my learning abilities. I think its because we find a routine in our lives that we like and we stick with that. Anything that seems to deviate from our comfort zone or routine in our every day lives just doesn't stick for very long. The only things that tend to stick are the routines or things that are easy to stick with or extremely rewarding. I think that that is why it's something to be noticed when someone does something really difficult and out of the ordinary that doesn't seem all that rewarding to anyone else. Its the grad student that finished grad school for the 3rd time because she/ he just wanted to learn and it's also the stay and home Mom that decided to have a Mexican Fiesta night with all the Mexican decorations and garb involved. It's people that really try to live life instead of just get through it that amaze me the most (I got that from a quote on the wall of the gym I go to).

So, I resolve to sincerely try to be someone who lives life and truly studies it's complex ways and styles. It is a blessing to be able to have the ability to do so.

Sincerely,
Samantha

P.S. Sorry if this post doesn't really make sense, it is 4AM after all.

Family Ties

So, I'm writing another blog now, it's been a while. I last wrote in March and now it's June. Not a lot has happened really. Justin and I really enjoy our apartment and it has been fun to live in it. I found out a few weeks ago that we have fresh seedless grapes that are being grown right outside our house that we are allowed to pick and enjoy! :P So, along with the pecan trees we also have some seedless grapes when they ripen and are ready to harvest. Justin and I really enjoy grapes, so that's fun.

Lately, I have been a little under the weather, emotional wise. It has been hard to deal with all of these changes. First, jobs, than moving out of town; I have never done that before; than not having my dog inside the house with me as well as moving away from my family and not being able to see them very often. It has all been rather difficult. I do kind of blame it as well on a birth control shot I got about a month ago that has really kind of messed up my normal system of thinking and dealing with things. But, I think it's starting to smooth out. If not, Justin still is always there for me, rain or shine and he doesn't ever give up on me.

Just yesterday, Justin and I decided to drive to Mesquite (about 35 min. away from us) and go out to eat at the Virgin River. The Virgin River has really cheap entrees that are sooo good and there is always so much food. Justin and I usually split the ham steak dinner and we can't even hardly finish that. :P So, we really enjoyed that last night. Also, on the way there we talked a lot about our future together and that is always bright and fun.

Justin is going to go to school in August, where hopefully I will be pregnant by then. I am pretty excited to get pregnant. It will be hard though considering Justin will be going to school full time and I will probably have to work a little bit. But, the very exciting part is that Justin and I are completely ready to have kids and we're excited to have them. I guess I shouldn't go as far as to say we're Completely ready but we are ready and wanting to move on to this next stage of our life together. It is fun to talk about what kind of traditions we should have as a family and than what we enjoyed as kids that our parents did for us and that we'd like to pass onto our kids.

Mostly, thinking about having kids makes you realize how grateful you are for your parents. Justin and I both had great parents that loved us and did everything they could to make us happy. Its hard to raise kids and to keep everything else in the balance. I guess it's just faith that you have to have when you start a family because you just don't know how life is going to happen. Even though it seems threateningly difficult to have a family it is ultimately rewarding and life changing or so I have heard. And, I think that if Justin and I have been able to make it up till now, we definitely will be able to make it through having our family together.

I am happy though, and Justin is happy as well. We look forward every day to being able to share the next day with each other. We have been spoiled these last three years (almost 4) and it will be a pretty huge adjustment when we do start to have our little kiddies. But, I think if anyone can do it, we can.

I hope everyone in our families are doing well! We love you all very much! We have family living in a lot of different places right now and we really miss all of you! We had so much fun with Justins family this last Monday, Memorial Day, going to Zions National Park and hiking Angels Landing. It was fun to hang out with all of them after as well at a bbq. Also, my family, some of them anyway, are coming this next week and we're VERY excited to see them as well.

Have a great day guys, or night if you all are reading this later in the day! Love you all!

Love,
Justin and Sammie

Our Meanderings..

So, it seems like its my turn to write a blog now eh' Jess? So, here I go..

Justin and I have some exciting things coming up and things that have already happened. I now work at BeeHive Homes and PetCo and Justin has a job that starts next weekend. Justin got a job working for the city of Saint George doing sound for their events (which they have events every weekend).

Also, we got an apartment in downtown St. George and its really a great apartment. It has a 6 month lease, $650 a month that includes utilities and its right across the street from the city center and library as well as a block away from the St. George Rec. Center. So its in a really prime location from Justin's job and because we'd like to go to the rec. center every day. The rec. center is free for Justin and its half off for me because I'm his wifey.

Also, some other interesting news; Justin is getting a Kawasaki Ninja motorcycle. It is supposed to get awesome gas mileage and is cheaper to insure as well as cheaper to buy than a vehicle. So, he's really excited to go shopping for one now that he has been to the motorcycle training and only needs to now get his license to drive one at the DMV. He also is really excited to shop for motorcycle clothing that screams leather daddy; haha, I'm just kidding he is very adamant about getting clothing that DOESN'T scream leather daddy.

So, we're going to be moving again soon the beginning of April. And, we're both really excited to be on our own again. We have really been grateful that Justin's Dad was so nice to let us stay at his house and because of that it has saved us TONS of time and money. Also, this last week I have been working about 70 hours at the BeeHive Homes and Bob, Justin's uncle who lives in St. George, was also really nice to let us stay at his house for the better part of the week last week so I wouldn't have to drive back and forth from Cedar to St. George after working a 14 hour night shift, :P. We are lucky to have such loving families and we're very grateful to all of them, :).

Everything is now seeming to pull together for us. We are very excited. Also, I recently discovered the wonders of Reddit.com. Very fun and awesome site if you like to read, research, and/or just watch funny, interesting or informative videos. Anything entertainment wise is pretty much on there. And, you can make it your own thing by selecting your own topics that you want to look at, watch or read about. Some of my favorites are "AWWW", "Funny" and of course "Dog Training".

Well, I think that's about it for us right now. We are happy and still very much in love with each other. I love all of you and hope you all are enjoying what is supposed to be the beginning of Spring!! (It's snowed here :P)

Love,
Justin and Sammie

Goings Ons...

Hey everyone!

So, my sister in law has updated her blog, and we made a deal where I would post one once she had posted one. So here goes...

Life here in Cedar is going great. I love the warm weather... pbbbth (rasberry) to all you northerners down there.. It is really nice weather being January. Saint George, where I work, is actually starting to feel like the end of spring it is getting so warm. The people I work with that have lived in St. George for a while state that it is actually cold, but they don't know what cold really is I don't think, :P. So, yeah, I am enjoying the weather.

Other than the weather being nice, my job is getting better. I have a lot more hours now and I found out that I get to care for the animal habitats on a regular basis as well as the regular store responsibilities; like cashiering and facing and such; it has been really fun to take care of the little critters in the store. I love ferrets now, and I would really like to have a couple when we get a house.

Anyways, so, Justin is doing okay as well. He will most likely be attending SUU in August to get a degree in Communication Studies. This will allow him to have a Masters and than a lot more job opportunities will open up. He is looking to maybe becoming a professor at a college and having a on the spot recording studio as well. If he gets his masters at SUU, which will take him about a year, he will be able to get a job as a professor pretty easily.

We are looking to move out pretty soon from my father-in-law's house. Not only because my work is about 50 miles away from Cedar, but, well, I guess thats the only reason really, and we like St. George better because of its nice weather. So, we're trying to find a place closer to St. George. I was hoping Toquerville would be an option, but we haven't quite looked there yet. It's about halfway between St. George and Cedar. So, while Justin is going to school I can also get to work a lot easier than I am now getting there.

Well, I think that's it for now, but until next time, I hope everyone is doing well. Also, most importantly, my Mom's birthday is this Saturday, and I wanted to wish her a very, very happy birthday. She is the most wonderful mother in the world, and I miss her very much!

Love you all!
-Sammie

Moving On...

Hey Everyone,

So a lot has happened with our little family so I thought I would catch everyone up. Justin and I now live in Cedar City. We just moved in with Justin's Dad last Thursday, so we've been here 4 days so far. It has been a good time! :).

Some sad news is we had to give Jasper away. With moving and not knowing our future and how to accommodate Jasper my coworker took him under her loving, watchful care. I know he is being well taken care of. The only thing I worry about is what kind of emotions he will or has felt. Dogs do feel emotion even if it sounds really silly. We don't know if the emotions they feel are anything like ours but they definitely do have feelings. So, that's the only thing I worry about. You can't exactly explain to a dog why you have to leave him for an uncertain amount of time.

Anyways, I know that was a sad paragraph but sometimes life throws you fastballs that you are not really prepared for. Even if you'd had all the time in the world to get ready for them, they still come fast and seem unprepared for. I am trying to keep a positive outlook on it though. I did spend every single last minute with him to the fullest and I know I don't feel any regret from lost time that I could have spent with him.

I feel like, when you're about to have to let go of something dear to you, you have to be sure to experience everything that ever made you happy with that something again and again before you have to say goodbye. Even though I live only 3 hours away from my family, it was not easy to say bye to them. Especially my Mom as she is very dear to me. I wanted to experience as much happiness as I could with her before I left without coming across too needy so I tried to let her know she was needed by me. I really wish I could say the words that would tell her how much I appreciate her love and understanding. I also am going to miss not having a lot of my family within 10-15 min of me. I love my family and they mean the world to me.

Anyways, I know I am blubbering. Blubber, blubber, blub, blub. I think when I get in these epiphany moods I just can't stop blubbering so I guess that's how it is.

Justin and I are down here in Cedar because we are going to be starting our own business in Saint George; that is for certain. Everything else; starting a family, buying a house, finding me a full time job, is still up in the air and under construction and/or scrutiny. All we know is we love being together and we regularly have success with making other people want to barf with our constant PDA.

But, we're looking forward to Christmas and we have finished most of our Christmas shopping. I am excited to see my in laws who are coming down to Cedar soon. And, I do have lots of fun taking care of my in laws Border Collie "Strider". He has soooo much energy and I am sooo not used to it. But, it is fun to help him get his energy out and play with him.

Anyways, I better stop this blog or it will become a short novel.

I love you guys... whoever is reading this... and I hope you all are having a great holiday.

Love,
The Aikens

So, I decided to put some pictures up. I hope you all are doing good, :D. I am doing great! We have been having a great year so far here in Provo. I just got a brand new Ipod Touch! I absolutely love it! I just added a bunch of new music on there just now and I am excited to try some new music. I now know my favorite genre is definitely pop music. I also like a little bit of country music. :D

So, right now I'm making homemade pizza! For those of you who read my last Facebook wall post, I hope this goes better than the homemade chili. :P

So, I just finished the pizza and it did turn out pretty well. We used our newish pizza stone with homemade pizza dough that had to rise for an hour. We also used pizza sauce and pizza cheese with pork sausage and pepperonis. It was tasty, and very, very filling. So I guess we'll see if it digests properly. :)

I have been trying to get to the gym every day to exercise and it has been going pretty well. It is fun to push yourself a lot and then feel good the rest of the day because of it. Everything is easier to accomplish throughout the day and everyone seems happier because I feel happier!

So, anyways, everyone and everything in my life is just right and wonderful. I have a lot to be grateful for. This Saturday is a big day for me and the community of Utah County. We are trying to build an off-leash dog park in Utah County, a couple of non-profit organizations and I. It looks like we will have a pretty big turnout, and I really hope it is a huge turnout Saturday. If you're interested in coming and I haven't told you already, its this Saturday, the 27th of Feb. at 6PM. We'll be holding the community meeting at the Provo City Library on Univ. Ave. in Provo. It should be a lot of fun and I am excited to have my mother & sister-in-law there, and of course my husband Justin.

Anyways, sometimes I get really focused on a project or program and it kind of takes over my life. This off-leash dog park has been that way for me and I really am excited for when it becomes a reality for Utah County. It's just frustrating how most things can't just happen all at once, it takes a lot of time sometimes to actually happen and become a reality. I just think it will be awesome once it's built and run by the committee. Anyways, I will stop talking about it.

I am really not sure what writing a blog is supposed to really be or what but I hope I'm not boring anyone, lol. So, well, Justin and I are doing well still. Our life together has only been getting better and better. We are more in love with each other than ever and we are learning and growing together, much like a vine of roses or grapes or whatever. We just really love each other, :D.

So, I better stop, but if you would like to comment, I will not complain, :D. Love you guys!

Hair-Do

You know those days when you want to try a different hair-do? Well today was one of those days. I went to church with my hair pulled back, (this is Sammie by the way, not Justin) and I put it in a messy bun. But the difference was I pulled it really high and there was no part in my hair. Anyways, the point is, trying new hair-do's makes you feel risky and hopeful. Especially when you don't use a mirror to try something new. :P

So, anyways, needless to say I really didn't like the end product. But, it's alright, it felt good to just throw all caution to the wind. I sound so dramatic, but I know pretty much every girl goes through the same feelings of adventure yet fear of being rejected or looked at funny. All I'm trying to say is, we shouldn't be too afraid to try doing our hair differently and throwing all caution to the wind. Maybe even go for a drive and just hang your hair out the window and let it decide what you'll look like today... never mind, not such a good idea when you live in Utah.. or Missouri (bug city).

Yeah, so, this is my blog for the day. I challenge every girl or guy to try something new with your look. Even if it doesn't work, and people stare at you with funny looks on their faces, oh well, you've just expressed yourself and that is worth everything and anything. :D

Time just flies!

So, every time I get to writing a blog, I stop after a few lines because I don't like writing a blog while Justin is waiting for me. He doesn't mind, but this is his computer and he usually has a ton of homework to do or other things to do on the computer, so its rare that I can write like I want to. :D Maybe I will start borrowing his net book and writing blogs. Also, I don't know really what to write about. Oh well, it's fun to type anyway, and ramble.

So, yesterday, Friday, my coworker had a birthday party for her 1 year old Australian Shepherd. It was so much fun because she made a cake for all the dogs that consisted of mainly flour, honey, and peanut butter. They absolutely loved it, and went crazy for the peanut butter dipped biscuits she made as well. Jasper and several other dogs old enough to deal with birthday hats being put on their heads, let us snap them around their necks. It sounds mean, but they didn't seem to mind with all the delicious snacks for them. And they looked adorable! Jaspers' hat ended up on his eyes because he sneezed and he didn't do anything about it but lay down and wait, it was really funny. I guess he knows his mom with help him eventually.

Anyways, so that was fun. Today Jasper has been kind of sick because of all the treats he got last night, but he doesn't really seem to mind, if anything he wished he had more cake to eat.

So, Justin and I are going on a little anniversary vacation next Tuesday! We're going to our favorite vacation spot up in Salt Lake called "Sky Harbor Suites" (I'm not sure if you're supposed to put that in parenthesis?) it's going to be really fun! There is an upstairs and a downstairs, and the beds feel like you're sleeping on very fluffy clouds. It's been two years for us together. We have a cheesy joke we play on eachother where we try to find a way to say "I love you more!" without giving the other a chance to say it back at all. Justin said it today as he was leaving and hurried out the door without giving me a chance to respond. Then, I called him about 30 min. later and told him he left the toilet seat up and then told him "Oh yeah, and I love you More!" and hung up and turned my phone off. :P we're weird I know.

Anyways, so, our plans are still that we're definitely going to have to move sometime May or June of 2010. We also both have been talking about having children more and we're looking forward to it and excited. I am more excited for the younger age and he's more excited for the older age, but we're both excited just to have kids. It will definitely be when we find a job for Justin, even if it isn't a very high paying job at all. We'll make do.

Anyways, just wanted to catch you all up on that. Also, just a side note, I think I lost a few pounds because I've been running at the gym. It's fun, I like to push myself and it is great to spend some time on myself and feel good about myself, :D. Justin is a big help with that though. He's always telling me how much he loves me and how I do look beautiful to him. I'm lucky.

Anyways, I'm probably making everyone gag now, but it's fun being with my husband and I can't wait to spend more time with him! :D!

Love you hunny pumpkin butt!!... yeah that was embarrassing, but whatever.

Happy Thanksgiving everyone!!!

Howl-O-Ween Party!

So, I wanted to post some pictures on here because I haven't posted any pictures on here for a long time and I have some pretty funny pictures to post so yeah, here they are...

These next few pictures as well as the one above were taken at our howl-o-ween party at petsmart..

This dog was really shy of the camera. :P

This puppy won 3rd prize, dressed as Princess Laya from Star Wars.

This was so cute, the turtle was loving the lettuce! :)

Finally, this is Jasper and his coworker, Shepherd, "Shep" for short. They get along really well and we're thinking of getting them both shirts that say "Coworker" with an arrow pointing to the other, lol :D.

So, the party was fun, there was close to 50-60 dogs there all dressed up but I couldn't get a picture of all of them. Anyways, I hope everyone is having a good week!

Love, the Aikens

Halloween and Pumpkins

It's officially becoming Fall weather here in Utah, and I love Fall weather! :) It's probably my second favorite season of the year, right behind Spring.

I also love pumpkins, hence the new background. Hopefully this year, I can actually paint my pumpkin right and it will be an awesome pumpkin, :).

There hasn't been much going on around our house lately. We did get rid of our other couch, the small love seat and now we have a lot of room in our front room, I really like it. Justin is in the middle of his second to last semester at BYU and he cannot wait for it to be done. It has been a really rough semester and I think he has a little touch of senioritisX3 as he was a senior about 3 years ago. He is just ready to be done, but I am proud of him and excited with him that he almost has his diploma. That last sentence.. and this sentence both have really incorrect grammar. Lol, oh well.

Anyways, so, I just thought I should write a post because of the new background change. I love Halloween! Justin and I are probably going to a Halloween party this year with some of my highschool buddies. I haven't been to a Halloween party since I was about 10 or 11 years old! I am excited. Especially for the candy I have to admit, lol jk.

So, well, I hope everyone is doing well. I just wanted to shout out to Tiffany, my sister in law, for some reason it won't let Justin or I comment on your blog, so we will just comment here, on our blog, k!? We both miss you and we're both happy that you're safe... and jealous that you're exploring so many cool places in the world! :) Your blog is great! I hope you are having fun! :) Love, Us

Happy Halloween everyone.. early!

Planes, Trains and Automobiles... LOVE that movie

Hello everyone! I am finally getting around to writing another blog! :)

First of all, I wanted to congratulate my Mom and her husband Tracy. The wedding really did turn out well and the reception was beautiful and there was a ton of really good food, :). Also, my sisters and I had a ton of fun being bridesmaids. It was funny that everyone thought we had coordinated our dresses so they kind of matched, but we didn't AT all, lol :D. We had a blast that night, I just hope we didn't scare Tracy with him wondering how in the heck is he going to survive this family, lol. But, it was fun. Justin was very handsome and we had some good pictures taken of us. :)

So, anyways, everything has still been going great over here. This last week for me has been so freaking crazy though. Justin has had an earfull of it, but is really supportive and kind. It started on Wednesday. I am pretty sure I was just burnt out at work, I had no energy and I just could not teach my classes with as much personality as I usually can. So, all of my classes just stunk that day. Then, the next day was my day off, and on Wednesday I had set up a time to go with my coworker to go up to the dog park in Sandy with 4 dogs. Well, when we got there it was great, we had a lot of fun. I decided to play tug-of-war with a pit bull mix, lol. They have about 60-70 lbs of pure muscle and I did not realize how hard it would be to play with him. He was really serious about the game, so I jumped right in and was serious about it to. I didn't let him win. Needless to say, I should have let him win because I haven't been able to really move my muscles for the last 3 days. Then, on Friday, I had a class with a dog that does not really like other dogs at all and will bite them if given the chance. The dog had gotten trapped behind a stool in the training center and I knew it was about ready to react and bite a dog, so I made the mistake of grabbing the dog from behind. The dog immediately reacted with his fight or flight mentality and because he couldn't run away he fought and bit me all over my hand. And, because it would be a huge step back for the dog if I let him win and retract from him, I went ahead and took the bite and held the dog down until he calmed down. He really got some good bites in my hand and I ended up having to go the hospital to get a tetanus shot and some antibiotics. But at least the dog hasn't regressed at all with his behaviors! I guess he has bitten a lot of his family members already.

So, well today was my first day to actually heal from all of this. It isn't as dramatic as I make it sound, lol, just being a girl and having estrogen is a straight shot to being dramatic about nearly everything lol. It's alright though. So, well, enough of all that. Today we get to go to Salt Lake and hang out with Justin's family. And, Strider and Jasper can play! :) I am really, really excited. I haven't seen Justin's Dad for a long time and it's been a while since I have seen Justin's Mom and sisters. So, I'm excited.

I am really happy and well taken care of by Justin. I really love where I am right now in life and I am so lucky to have the family I have and the love that I have for everyone in my family. I am so excited for my Mom and Tracy starting their new life together in Springville. It will be fun to go and hang out with them more often, :).

Well, I better stop blabbing, because I am probably making everyone who is reading this bored. But, I love you all and hope you are all having a great weekend! :) Love ya!

<link rel='alternate' type='text/html' href='http://sammieandjustin.blogspot.com/2009/09/hello-everyone-i-am-finally-getting.html' title='Planes, Trains and Automobiles... Right now I am typing on my new net book. They are so freaking awesome! It is small but I like how small it is, it is really easy to carry around and fun to play on.

Also, right now Justin is working on the new PC we got about a month ago. It was being used for our entertainment system and kept all of our shows and movies on there and made it really easy to watch whatever we wanted to watch. But, now I guess the hard drive for it is "corrupted", I guess is the correct term.

It is really interesting typing on this little thing. I am also listening to Journey so it's really fun, they have awesome guitar solos. So tonight is g0ing pretty much like any other night.

We both have been doing really well this last month. I really cannot believe how time goes so fast. It just goes by so fast! Justin is doing good at school. He is almost done with this semester, and is getting ready to start a really hard semester of 8 classes again. He did sell one of his amps yesterday to a guy who used to work at a recording studio here in Provo called Muse. The guy is moving to Reno and said that he would give Muse, who is looking for a recording engineer, Justin's number. So, hopefully he can get a job there. It would be so great if we could stay in Provo and not move. We will keep our fingers crossed because apparently Muse would definitely pay him well with all of his equipment that he could provide their studio with and he would do a better job for them because they don't have the best equipment or know how. So, we are both hoping for that. But, even if we have to move it will be alright. Moving does feel right to me. Even though I do have to move away from my family, it will be really hard, but we will see them a lot, and come back a lot to visit and catch up.

So, another bit of big news. My mom is engaged! How cool is that?! Our family just met the man who she is marrying, which is different, but he seems to be alright and nice. He likes our family and was laughing with us a lot, and that's really good. He hasn't given her a ring yet but they said they are serious. So, that is exciting news and we are both excited for them.

Now I am listening to Chicago, Hard to Say I'm Sorry. It's such a good song, :) , and the guitar solo at the end is great!

So, anyways, today is going great too. I got off work a little early and we made pizza tonight. We have had a good night, :) . Well, I hope you're all having a good night too! :)

Ramblings about our everyday life..:)

Hello!

So, I am writing again to update on how it's going over here. We're doing just great still! I got some new fish for pretty cheap the other day. Now I have three swordtails, 3 assorted sailfin mollies, and one plecostomus (algae eater). It is really fun to watch the fish. I am sure that I will not be getting any more though, unless any die, but I think they are doing really well so they won't for a while at least.

Justin and I are doing good. It was raining so hard today that our ceiling started leaking and now the whole wall in our living room has some water damage. We figure it has been getting worse and worse and we just didn't realize it was getting so bad until it rained so hard today. Our weather here in Provo/Orem has been nuts! First it rains and acts like it will never stop and then out of nowhere it is perfectly shiny and nice outside?!! It's definitely having bipolar issues.

I just finished all four books of the Twighlight Saga. It was sooo good. I loved it! Seriously I could not put them down at all. It drove Justin insane because I couldn't put it down. I was even reading it while at a stoplight at some stoplights I knew I could read at least 2-3 sentences. I know I got obsessed with them. I liked all of them a lot. The author writes so well and always keeps you interested. But, it is definitely written for girls mainly as it is all romance and stuff that guys don't understand a lot about, lol. Haha, I heard from Justin that there was this guy who got dumped by his girlfriend because he didn't act like Edward. :P That was hilarious I thought.

Anyways, I am rambling now. But, they are good novels. So, yeah, Justin is also very obsessed with the TV series "Lost". He is on the last season now. So, we both will no longer have these big obsessions soon, lol. We'll just have to find something else I suppose.

So, Jasper is doing good. Today, he even took on a Great Dane! They look like large ponies. For those of you who know Jasper well, you know he is not a fighter, he likes to run. After he fought a little bit, while we were getting them apart, he kind of snapped out of it and looked like he was thinking "What the heck was I thinking!?" It was funny. I am so used to dogs getting into fights now, I am completely desensitized to it. It is really easy to break them up and they hardly ever escalate to the point of danger. So, it was just more funny to see Jasper's face when he stopped fighting because he was so surprised he had fought back.

Anyways, I could seriously talk forever about dogs, but I try not to because it is really boring when someone drones on and on about stuff like that sometimes.

So, Justin and I are going to Cedar City soon again. We are leaving next Saturday night. It is going to be great as we are going to first hang out with Justin's family on Saturday and Sunday. Monday Justin's family is leaving to drop Kayla, Justin's sister, off to school in Logan. So, they're letting Justin and I stay in their house from Monday until Wednesday night! :) It will be so fun and we are both really, really excited.

Anyways, I better go so I can stop rambling. But, we are doing well, and we still love eachother very much! :) I hope everyone is doing well that reads this! Have a good week! :)

Hi! so, I know I have not written in such a long time, sorry. It is hard to write all of the time but I will continue to try to do better at writing.

So, everything has been going pretty good over here lately. It's been pretty crazy busy lately. Life has been so full of so many things going on. But, they are all very good things. Mainly I guess I really just wanted to write a blog expressing my feelings about my wonderful husband Justin. He really has been so much of a comfort and assurance to me. No matter how selfish or distant I seem to be sometimes, he always, always just wants me to be happy. It's crazy how two people so very different from each other, personality wise, can be so perfect for each other. But, it's true with Justin and I, we really are perfect for each other. Sure, marriage is in no way easy, but we compromise 100% for each other, sometimes 150% on Justin's part. But, anyways, we just are exactly what each other needs and we both would not be complete without each other.

Okay, so enough with the cheesiness. Hehe, as Justin's mom said, "Gad, they've been married for almost two years already!" exasperated that we always want to be together still.... I know I said no more cheesiness, but it feels like we're just little children in love that will do anything for each other, even if it takes giving up our last favorite crayon.

Anyways, a little about what's going on now. I am still working at petsmart, it's been going great. There are normally two trainers at work all the time, but because the other trainer is taking the summer off, I am going to be the only trainer for this summer. It has been kind of stressful and hectic, (I taught for 5 hours straight today, no breaks), we have been getting more money to pay off our debt(s), debts being we have a lot. Justin is doing good as well. He is currently just taking a choir class at school right now. He has to take choir so he can graduate, and is not happy about it AT all. Those that know Justin know he really is not fond of BYU right now. But, whatever it takes to graduate he will do it. He is also doing an internship in Salt Lake about two times a week. Luckily this summer he has more free time to study recording at home like he needs to. He also is taking a jazz piano class online, so he keeps himself busy.

Also, one very good thing that's been going on. We made a budget for this last month of May and have stuck to it!!! We now only have about $1.50 left to spend on any food for this last week, but we should be fine, lol. But, if we keep on this budget, we should have enough money to pay off all of our debt before we die! :P lol, jk.

Anyways, so well, it's all going good. I just wanted to tell my family really quick, as well as my in-laws that I love them all. I really, really love being with family, it is so healing and refreshing whenever we spend any time with any of you, seperately or together. It is just so great to have family to love.

Well, that's all I'm going to write today, but hope all is well with everyone else!!! Love you all!!

So, because I have not written in a while, I decided to write a little. There has been quite a few things going on since my last update.

First of all, we had an GREAT vacation! We went to Salt Lake and stayed in a suite for two nights. It was seriously the greatest two days ever. The only thing that sucked was that we left our camera in our car that Justin's sister had so we ended up not taking any pictures. Next vacation we are going to take so many pictures we will have to buy another memory card so we can make up for not taking any this vacation.

We had so much fun on our vacation. We played at the mall and went down town and explored all of the cool places. I know Salt Lake is really not that fantastic, but it is fun to explore new places and look at houses. For some odd reason, I love looking at houses. My favorite is old houses. To me it is the feeling you get when you look at the house. All of the many different people and spirits that still live in the house is just fascinating to me. I love how every house's aura makes me start to imagine what kind of people inhabited the house and what kind of things went on inside it. Sounds kind of creepy I know, but I love to imagine it. I think I like it more now that I am married because I like to imagine what my future house will look like and what my family will do inside the house. All of the traditions and parties, and little children growing up and changing inside the house. Anyways, I know I am weird, I have weird hobbies and interests sometimes.

Anyways, also, another cool thing that has happened. Justin's home recording business is taking off. He already has quite a few bands and people interested in coming to record here. Because he spread the word around, and has also started working with a guy who discovers new bands, he has a lot of opportunities now. He is really happy and I am as well because he's so happy.

Anyways, I am really getting tired and a lot of what I am writing is starting not to make sense, so I should stop. But, have a good night and I will write soon again! :) Good night!

Little thoughts

So, since my last post about spring, it has been everything but spring. But, that's okay, today was beautiful and I think the next two days are going to be even nicer than today.

Today and yesterday was conference, and it was great. Today, Justin and I had so much fun. We first watched the morning session on our new computer hooked up to the TV. I am so glad Justin knows so much about computers. I think he thinks its just nerdy to know so much but it is really attractive to me... perhaps I have a little nerdery inside me as well. Who am I kidding, if you knew me in junior high and even high school I was 101% nerd, I just didn't know very much about what most nerds know about. So, anyways, than during the 2 hour break between sessions, we first helped my Mom book a hotel room for her little spring break vacation in Saint George. She's taking my little sister and her friend as well. I am sure it will be a lot of fun, I hope she has fun, especially how it's got to be perfect weather down there.

Than, after we helped my Mom, we went and got some pop from the coke machine. There are some times, I swear I have got to be the most annoying person but I can't help it! When I get hyper I just kind of tackle Justin and kind of tickle him and stuff, I always end up to where he's like looking at me like, "okay, will you Please leave me alone!" lol, or "Which planet did you come from?". Anyways, I do the same with Jasper as he is just so fun to play with. Even though he does just lay there a lot of the time when I play with him, he still has the same look as Justin has, it's funny when he does it as well.

So, after that we came home and watched the second session. We both really liked the talks, they were all very inspiring. I really love how much the spirit just spreads through the entire house when those prophetic men speak. It is so humbling and rejuvinating all at the same time.

After the second session was done, we than went to a little 5 acre dog park in Provo and let Jasper just hang out and run around. There were a few other dogs there but not many. Jasper got really tired after he ran around for about a half hour. He is definitely winding down and becoming a relaxed middle to old aged dog.

After we came back from the park, we came home and made fruit crepes. They were so stinking good!!! My mom gave me the recipe and they actually didn't turn out too bad. All you have to do is use some pancake mix, put a little more water than usual in the mix, add 2-3 eggs for the 4-8 pancake serving and cook each crepe in a skillet. After that, you just put any pie filling in the middle with lots of whipped cream and it's delicious and really filling. Justin gets so cute when he likes food, he starts explaining why it's so good. He's like " well, if you put the filling on the inside, with a ton of whipped cream on the outside, and than lots and lots of cinnamon, it's perfect!" And, he doesn't stop explaining his food, it's so freaking cute.

Anyways, so, sorry this blog is so long, but I should update you on how it's been going so far with the counseling. I have made a lot of progress I think. See, when I first got married, I thought that in order to be married you had to be almost exactly the same with all of the important goals and values. I kind of got caught up in this unfortunately though where I felt like I needed to make him sacrifice for us to make me feel like we were on the same page. I was unconciously forcing and making him change for me. Well, this was not working at all for me and I am very very glad because we would be in a much different situation now that would cause both of us to be completely miserable.

I am not sure if I am making much sense, but I am making a lot of progress. I absolutely cannot control his thoughts or actions, I was mostly trying to control his thoughts. He has his right to be and do whatever he wants to do and be. Even if it does affect me, that does not mean he doesn't have the right to do it. I have my right to be and do what I want to do and be. I am in control of myself and myself only. If I want to be happy, no one can truly make me happy except myself.

So, as you can imagine, this has helped me so much when we have any kind of issue with each other. Luckily, I have a very patient and long suffering husband, and it is much easier because of that fact.

Anyways, the counselor said that it is so good that we are figuring this out before we have children as they would be thanking us thoroughly for it. He said he can tell why we chose eachother as we do care about each other a lot. These two things help me a lot to focus on changing myself.

So, well, I better end this blog as it is going way too long I think. Well, love you all and hope you have a great Sunday and a great week this week!!! :D

Spring is here!!

Hey, so because I love spring and it has finally started I wanted to write a blog about it. I know it snowed a little yesterday, but I am convinced that it is officially spring.

I love spring, as you can tell from my blog layout. Justin and I were first dating during this time of year and it brings back a lot of good memories. Also, it is the time of year when I was born and when a lot of my sisters were born as well. And, spring is just so fresh and inviting, everything seems new and alive. I prefer to think of the year actually starting in spring as that's when we actually seem to do better at our New Years Resolutions.

So, everything is going good here still! :) We just barely got home from WalMart and now have quite a bit of food. Justin and I still wonder how in the heck people go like 3 weeks without shopping again. Maybe we're just kind of big eaters, but, seriously, we don't eat a ton and we don't eat a large variety of food every day.

A little about what we've been up to: we have been trying to set a date night every week, Justin and I, so that we have a little better week the following week. This last date night we made a sheet tent in the front room, played scrabble and ate food. We are kind of immature.. okay, I'm a little immature as I have been wanting to make a sheet tent in the front room for a little while.

Also, work is going well for Justin and I. Justin is still doing great at school. Today, my family is having a trust fund meeting to talk about our year end goals and where our trust fund stands right now. Justin is going to an interview type thing to get and internship at a recording studio during the summer, while we're having the trust fund meeting, so he won't be there. But, I will tell the whole family about what he's trying to accomplish.

So, well, I better go get ready for work, Justin is making us bacon and eggs before I go, he's a very sweet husband. :D Well, love you all and hope you're all doing well!

Hi! So, I decided to write a new blog for this month. That seems to be my routine.

Well, to start off, Justin and I and Jasper are doing great. Justin is still chugging his way through school and work and I am still working at PetsMart. Jasper is getting older that's for sure. He loves to sleep a lot more and he is getting quite a bit of gray hair around his eyes. We think he is about 8 1/2 years old now so he still has about 6-7 years left we hope. :)

I also got three new fish last week. I have a 16 gallon bow front aquarium. Now we have 3 swordtails in the tank and soon we'll have some silver sailfin Mollys in it as well.

So, its really been going great lately. :)

Justin and I have been going to a Marriage Counselor. While we were in our sunday school class, they were talking about strengthening our marriage and said BYU has a free program for married couples that are attending BYU. Because Justin is going to BYU, they let me go for free as well with him. It's been going well. Justin and I really love each other a lot and even though we are like the difference between a pea and a carrot, only imagine the carrot were actually a fruit, we go together like peas and carrots. Although, I hate peas and carrots so that was kind of a bad description of us, we go together like spam and rice, is better :).

But, basically, when it comes down to it, no other guy could really put up with me the way he does. I do have this tendancy to argue a lot when I am angry. And, even though I actually stop being angry inside, I still lash out and it's so, so hard to control it. And, worst of all, I always hurt his feelings while I am arguing and I hate that most of all. But, I am doing better at it and I now know when I need to push the stop button and just relax for a minute. Slowly but surely, it's getting much easier to control. But, seriously, I have no idea how Justin put up with me in our first year. Even if I am angry he still just wants to hold me and let me know he loves me. But, for some reason, I can't let him in to make things better. For him, it's like when you're sliding on ice and you can neither stop or push on the gas, you just have to hang out in neutral and hope for the best. This is why I am trying so hard to change my behavior because not only do I love him the same way, but I never want him to hurt because of me.

So, anyways, I am really grateful for him and he knows he has all of my heart and more.

This blog is definitely a different blog than normal. This is just a huge thing going on in my life and I haven't ever really told anyone about what was going on, how I have huge anger control issues. But, I am working through them, and I think the first part to changing is admiting that I do have a problem.

So, but, it is going good over here. I now vacuum every other day and I clean regularly. I also, love taking care of Justin and Jasper and our little fish now. I am really, really excited for spring and all the new life that happens during this time of year. I also know my Heavenly Father does love me and is watching over our little family. Although, I do wonder why he doesn't sometimes smack me around a little bit. But, it's only up from here and I will definitely make a few mistakes, but they won't be as bad as the one before it hopefully. :D

Well, I hope everything is going well with everyone else. I love reading everyone's blog as it is so strengthening to me, thank you for being such good people. :) Have a good day!

Hey, so, I really have been slacking off on writing in my blog and I'm sorry. I have been really wanting to write... does that count?

Anyways, so, first off, I got my ring back! It was being resized. It's a little too big but it will do, :D. I have been missing my ring.

Here's a pic.. up there. Lol, I still don't know quite how to put pictures on my blog.

Anyways, everything is going great over here. We have been doing pretty great. I got a pay raise at my job and we have been selling a lot of our books we have around the house. Justin had a ton of really nice guitar tab books and other books. He kept them really nice too so we've been getting some extra money.

Valentine's Day was great! We first pretended to go to my sister in law's house so my brother could surprise her and take her to salt lake for a little vacation. Than, Justin and I made a really nice spaghetti dinner with a really nice salad that Olive Garden might have. It was great.

I have really been thinking lately about really enjoying the moment and living life to the fullest. It is true that as us being humans, we always want more no matter how great our life is. Accepting and loving where we are right now and here, provides the greatest happiness that money can't buy. It's easy to wish for everything to be perfect when really everything is pretty close to perfect. But, focusing on each small moment in time, in stead of focusing so much on the future and what it holds can help I think. And, if you think about it, you really do have to make time to focus on these little moments, otherwise they will just slip away. It's true, time can be either your enemy or friend. We can choose to hold on to it and make the best of it, or wish for it to keep going so we can get to something better.

I was thinking, I really, really miss my Dad, he just left too soon. I need him in my life right now, I thought. Because of this thinking, I was just feeling sad. All of the sudden, I started to think, would my Dad really want me to feel sad like this about him? My Dad was the type to live life and love every single moment in it. He also tried to make others feel the same way he did and enjoy life with him. He also wanted me to be happy and love where I was and what I was doing with my life. It's hard sometimes to do this, but, it's such a sweet feeling when you realize just how much you have and who you have around you.

So, anyways, sorry for the mushiness, I have just been really thinking about this for a long time and I've been wanting to put my feelings in writing.

Well, I have to go take care of a fix-it-ticket lol. One of life's pleasures. hehe, jk.

Bye! :D

New pictures.. just for fun

Our temple day! :)

                                                                                                                               All of the family!

This was a present my Mother-in-law gave us. We have definitely been very blessed and watched over to be able to receive such an amazing opportunity. It was so worth it and I am so grateful for Heavenly Father's forgivness and long suffering towards us. I hope I can always be deserving of this great blessing.

Me, writing a post

Hello :D

So, I just wanted to write a little post to update everyone on everything that has been goin' on over here. We are doing pretty great! Justin and I have been married for a year and almost 2 months! We really love being together. He is always trying to make me happy and is so happy when I am happy. The only time he is unhappy is when I am mad at him or something. It is so sweet, I am so lucky I have such a great husband. I am working on not getting mad very often. I am doing a lot better I think.

So, anyways, its really going well otherwise. I am still working at Petsmart and Justin is having a lot of fun working at the BYU recording studio. He is in school this spring semester and it's kinda tough for him as he has 8 classes. It's a lot as all of the different professors act as though they are the only ones that are important lol. But, he's pulling through. He definitely cannot wait to graduate, which will hopefully be this December, 2009.

So, yeah, I started a diet a few weeks ago, and it was going pretty well until last night. I really got depressed and really stressed out. I was so grouchy and short tempered. I am certain I should not have been driving these last two days as my road rage was raging and roaring. But, for the life of me I could not figure out what was making me so frustrated and upset about everything and anything. Then I started thinking about our money situation, which everyone now days is having this situation in some way or another. Our debt is piling up and our money is slowly dissapearing. I felt so helpless and so angry at the world. No matter how hard I worked and how much I did, there was no way I could ever be free of the endless weight of debt. Every time I went to the store, I just scrutinized and fussed over how I shouldn't or couldn't get this or couldn't get that or really didn't need that, almost to the point that I would almost bawl the whole way home from the store because I was so stressed out about it. It may sound exaggerated, but when it comes down to it, that's exactly how I felt. Sorry, this is becoming a long post, when I said it was going to be short, lol. Anyways, also to top things off, I am on a diet and I could not drown my feelings in good, salty, fatty fat food. It drove me insane! So, last night after I had almost blown up at Justin, he made me talk about it, and we decided to go get pizza. We went over to my brother and sisters house and ate it so fast I swear it just got vaccumed into space. Mostly because of me, as I really snarfed it down.

So, anyways, everything is better now, as Justin helped me realize that we may be struggling now, but we will be okay if we keep working hard and be frugal. But, the important part is not to go insane being frugal. Just be careful and that's that.

Anyways, i better start to stop this blog as it could go on for days if I don't... seriously, I do have a mouth when it comes to my feelings. Justin can attest and protest if you would like him to about that, lol. Even though he says I'm his favorite subject, even I get frustrated with myself when I just cannot stop talking lol.

So, yah, everything IS going great. OH, I got a new fish tank!!!!!!! Its a 16 gallon bow front aquarium. That's probably what put me over the top yesterday pertaining to money as the fish tank was a big issue. I really am excited about it and am reading and studying and really looking forward to putting the fish in and taking care of them and the aquarium, but it's costly sometimes. But, basically, Justin and I both decided I did need something to take care of as I am quite baby hungry and he's gone a lot at school and work and such. So, it's for my own emotional well being and sanity lol, anyways, I will now stop the blogging.

Have a great day, and I will try to write more often... again. :D

My Honey... the naturally sweet kind

~What is your husband's full name? Because we have only one car and Justin has work and school in the same place, I mostly drive the car.
~Who kissed who first? Justin, I kind of knew he was going to but was so nervous that I backed away, but then we kissed after that awkwardness left.
~Who asked who out first? I asked Justin out first, or at least to meet him, it was kind of a blind date. Then, he asked me out on a real date, such a gentlemen.
~Who wears the pants? It's definitely half and half, because Justin does not want to make me sad at all, so he's very careful about what he says. But, he is also stubborn as a mule, as am I if I have something set in my brain, so we try to compromise a lot, :P.

Tagged by my own sister in law.

I got tagged by my sister in law Jessica. So, I decided to write again.

Everything has been going pretty great over here. It has been so fun to go through each day and see what comes. I have started my new job at PetsMart as a Dog Trainer. I am not sure if that should be capitalized as it is definitely not a really professional title because I have not been through school or anything. But, I did go through the accreditation process and studying and it has been so much fun the whole way through. I never realized how much I really was meant to help dogs in this way. At first I thought it was just a hobby and that I kind of liked it. But, I love it! It really is a part of who I am and part of who I am supposed to become. Sorry for being so cheesy, it has just been so exciting and fun to learn all of these things about dogs and how to train them and I enjoy it every day.

Justin, my husband, in case you have not caught on to that yet in the previous blogs. Though, that would be really weird as I always mention how he is doing and how he is my life and everything. Lol, that sounds really lax, but he is my life and my joy. Lately, we have been really trying to prepare for the temple and loving eachother more. It is amazing that if you just turn your hearts to Heavenly Father in prayer and searching, he will make mountains out of the small little hills. I have grown to love Justin very much and in stead of holding myself back because of past mistakes, we both now support each other and help eachother. It is a great blessing to know that I really will be okay and Heavenly Father does forgive anyone.

Anyways, I always end up being cheesy I think. But really, cheese should be my middle name because I always end up cheesy lol.

So, yeah, we are doing very well. We are both working and Justin is going to school and interning at the church's motion picture studio. Jasper is doing great as well.

I hope this wasn't to long of a blog. Have a great day! :)

So, I realized that if I write a blog first before I title it, it is much easier to title the blog. This is a new discovery, as most of my blogs start with Hey, or Hello.. yeah.

So as of yet, I have not titled this blog. Hopefully I will be able to title it and not end up titling it Untitled. Although I do love Albums of music and poems called untitled. It lets you decide what it should be titled.

So, anyways, I decided I am not going to write my blog like a journal. I just don't like to talk about myself because I have realized that I just tend to talk about the negative things when I talk about myself. It makes me unhappy and everyone else. So, I'm going to talk about Justin and my family and his family and other people around me and so on.... just so you know.

I love to talk about dogs, as everyone knows. It is fun to talk about them because they are so interesting. And, the most intriguing thing about them is the way they communicate to you.

I will go into this further in the future, but I have to go now. Lol, yah short blog I know. But, I will continue to write as often as I can.

Ta Ta, :)
sammie

Hey, :)

So, I guess my new routine is writing a blog every month because I can't seem to write them any more sooner than that for some reason. I really like to write because I feel like I can express myself more when I write down my feelings.

So, tonight and last night Justin has been working with his guitar teacher recording a song for him and his band. They're doing a remake of the song from Nickleback, I dont know the title, but it's kind of a funny song. They're doing it for Nuskin so the words are even more funny than the original words. Justin has loved helping him with this and its great that he's getting the experience. It just really sucks for me because he is gone past midnight, last night and he will be tonight. Lol, I know it's kind of dumb that I'm being lonely, but it does make me realize how much I care about Justin.

So, anyways, everything has been going well over here. A lot has happened. First, we sold our yellow car. Now we only have our white honda. Justin is going to buy a bike to ride to school as he is going to have an on campus job in their recording studio, hopefully. I am sure that he will, he really does not realize how smart he is. Second, I applied for a job at PetsMart, for the dog training position. I have not heard back from them so who knows if it will work out, but I am keeping my fingers crossed. Third, we bought a 6 ft. Ohana bag/ Lovesac. It is so awesome! It sits right in the middle of our front room and pretty much there is no more room in the front room anymore lol, but we love it. Jasper is not so sure about it, we think he thinks it's going to eat him, but he will get used to it we hope. Fourth, Justin is almost done with this semester, he is doing very well this semester and learning very fast. Fifth, my job at Worldwide Book Drive is really taking off, we are now fulfilling about 200 books a day, shipping them out to people all over the world. I should be getting a raise sometime but who knows when.

Wow, that was a lot of information about our lives and how we're doin. One of the things going on with me right now is I am really learning not to worry about what others think at all. More importantly, I mean, I am not taking anything so directly personal, as a negative thing. Those who know me very well know that I just really get down on myself even if I say one thing and it is not even interpreted the wrong way, I think it was and I take it so personally that I just become a little worry wort. It's really not worth it and I don't know how or why I've stopped doing it, but I just let it go, and let it flow.

So, well, pretty much this was kind of a boring blog, but we have been doing really good over here. It's true that life is hard, but really, it always will be and we really need to learn to be happy and have fun. The goal for life is to find happiness to find purpose, even in the smallest moments of pure happiness and purpose, we were meant to find those and create them.

Anyways, I really should stop talking now, I get kind of melancholy sometimes when I think too much lol, but I really am working hard to be more optimistic. To not hold on to any negative thoughts but as soon as I have one, just let it go as soon as it comes. Replacing the negative thought with something positive.

Well, I want to shout out to my family, if any of them get a chance to read this far into the blog, lol, thanks for coming on Sunday, it was so nice to see everyone and we really loved having everyone there. I think that family is really central to finding our true happiness and purpose in life. It's true, I am having a hard time waiting to have a family of my own, but we are praying about it and working with each other on our dreams and goals in life, soon, it will be our time to start a family and to be together forever. Lol, I could go on and on about everything but I am afraid I would really bore people to death. That's probably the only thing I don't like about the blogging is I can't really express myself in a short blog, it takes too long for me to express myself.

Well, if you got this far, you are very kind and nice to read this. I know I can be a little weird sometimes, but it's alright, my grandma says as long as you admit it, you're not really hopeless.

Anyways, have a great night! Talk to you next month, lol, jk, I will try to write a little more often. :) Good night.

Hello, :). So, I have not written in a while again, so I decided to write one for fun.

Right now, Provo City is over, inspecting our apartment.. it's very weird. They are dusting off our window..?? lol. I really don't understand why they're here. It's alright though, they came when I just got out of the shower, it was very awkward.

Anyways, it's not too annoying... just annoying lol. So, anyways enough of being negative. I think they're actually fixing our swamp cooler, it's making a lot of ruckus.

Work is going okay, my job anyway, we've been changing up some of my routines and now we will have confirmation emails going out to all of our buyers, finally. :) It is a big change because now my 45 step process, has about 15 less steps. But, that is boring, because work is boring, but it is fun because we have interesting moments like today, I saw a bug that was humongous... really it was huge, and so Emily smashed it and it really made a huge loud sounding splat... no kidding. It was the loudest splat you could ever imagine, all of us 4 girls were screaming in disgust.

Justin just got his grades back from last semester and he got one A, a B-, a B and one C-. lol, I am beginning to know that Justin is way, way too hard on himself. He always says he's never going to pass, he is going to fail. He really works hard at school, even though he really really hates his classes.

So, anyways, life is great. This week, on the 3rd and the 4th of July our neighborhood is having a ton of stuff going on. We are going to go have a barbecue with them on the night of the 3rd, and watch a movie and have dancing that night, and games. And then in the morning we have the whole block to ourselves to watch the parade. And then, on the morning of the 4th we have a crepe breakfast. I will tell you all how it went next week!

So.. Justin just told me that wasn't Provo City that was over, but a repair man from our landlord... lol, that was even more awkward being all awkward about it.

Guten Tag! That was for LeeAnn.

The things I am grateful for... Justin made me do it.

Hey, so, a few days ago I had just about the worst day at work. I hated everyone and everything about this world and I wanted everyone to know that. Justin, in the past has made me tell him 5 positives about work a day... well first you have to understand why I need to do that... my job is working with onri customer's, pretty much all day. lol. But, its not that bad, I just don't understand sometimes how people can get so puffed up over such a little thing. But, there are nice customers too.

For instance, today I had a nice old man call, he was very kind and fun to talk to. He is what makes it worth all of the overly exasperated customers. It's weird how one nice person can completely change the anger you seem to feel towards people.

Anyways, so Justin said, after I had come home that bad day and pretty much was ready to rip anyone's head off, that I had to write 300 things down that I am grateful for. And guess what, you get to hear them all right now... lol not, that would be bloody boring for the people involved.

But, I will give you a taste of what is ahead for the 300 positives. Here is the first ten things that I am very grateful for...

1. first and foremost my life and the one I will share the rest of it with... and forever.
2. my shoes, I always think of that first somehow, just because maybe if I didn't have them or the world didn't have them, I don't know where I'd be.
3. I am grateful for fruit: Oranges, banannas, strawberries, huckleberries (I love that name), apricots, plums, pomegranates, watermelons, apples ect.
4. my car, your car- they both run and are pretty nice
5. ICE CREAm-hehe, chocolate, rum-chocolate, mint-chocolate, pralines and cream, rockyroad ect.
5. Chocolate, chocolate fountains, chocolate bunnies, chocolate covered raisins, chocolate roses.
6. music- definitely in my top ten, Minus-the-bear, ska, romantic music... okay mostly I love romantic music
7. Tires.. I don't know why i thought of this as my top ten.. maybe I should make it farther down, but its just poppin out of my head. We would not get anywhere with our cars without tires.
8. Babies, my friend just had a baby so I am thinking about them, they are adorable and the fresh start of life and a generation. And they are really cute, :).
9. work- work before play, that's what makes us truly happy. We were meant to make something of ourself and to prove ourselves, I think work is part of that.
10. Jews... lol... where the heck did that come from lol. I'm so weird. I am grateful for all the people in this world, we have bitter people and happy people.. it evens out. :)

Lol... i really don't know where Jews came from. I was not trying to be racial or judgemental at all.

But, just those ten have helped me. I really am grateful for just the time and moments that I have and am able to enjoy. It is all such a blessing.

Well, I'm going to go eat some eggs and bacon, Justin cooked dinner tonight, he's really good at making eggs and bacon. :)

Good Night!

<link rel='alternate' type='text/html' href='http://sammieandjustin.blogspot.com/2008/06/things-i-am-grateful-for-justin-made-me.html' title='The things I am grateful for... So, I decided to write a quick blogg whilst on my break here at work.

So, what to say in a half hour break... yesterday was Mothers day! It was a really pretty day outside, felt like it was in honor of our mothers how beautiful it was outside. We called Justin's parents and talked to them catching up and stuff. They are doing well, his Mom is almost done with college, she is going to be a college advisor to help students figure out their goals and to accomplish exactly what they want to do. She's got two classes left! :)

So, anyways, I just had this Terryaki microwave dish and its... so so. I think it tastes a little weird. Justin and I went shopping the other day for groceries.. Seriously it felt like we just went not over a week ago, which it was just over a week ago and we were completely out of food. Its really weird how fast food dissapears.

So, well, I better get back to work, but I hope you all are loving this new start of Spring... though its raining outside that will make it all the more greener! :)

Pineapple upside down cake day!..

So, I wanted to write a blogg about something, but I didn't know what. Then I realized, probably in annoyance to everyone else, that pineapple upside down cake day is in TWO days! In two more days!

We used to have pineapple upside down cake made in a cast iron stove while we were up in the cabin camping. Oh my gosh, heaven was in that stove. Hehe, it was sooo good.

Speaking of camping, I was remembering how fun it was and I wanted to talk about how fun it was to camp. Lol, that was a very well constructed sentence.

So, we used to go to horny toad hill, okay it wasn't really literally named that by a professional hill namer, but me and my siblings named it that. Now when we go there, which was like almost a year ago, the hill looks no larger than a small ant hill. But, when we were little, it was humongous! And there were horny toads on the hill! They had very soft bellies and hard backs. It was fun to hold them. Except I think their escape mechanism was to poop on you because they did that often, then we wouldn't hold them anymore lol.

Anyways, camping is fun. Especially in a tent. I actually prefer tents to cabins. I am not really sure why, maybe because whenever we went to the cabin when I was little we had to use the outhouse. And since there was no inside outhouse, we even had to use it in the middle of the night, when bears and cougars come out. Yes.. I think thats why I prefer tents to cabins.. well maybe because you still have to go outside when you sleep in a tent. Hmm, I don't know why I like tents more.

Anyways, this is beginning to be a long blogg, Im just excited for the summer to start. Then we can go camping and have barbeque's and watermelon ect. Its all great, :)

Well this is the end. Hope whoever reads this now likes to camp either more or likes it all of the sudden, because its so much fun.

Talk to ya later!

Just Because.

So, today I wanted to write a another blogg. I'm not sure why, but I decided to anyway.

I wanted to first start off with some funny stories I heard.

In Mexico, there was a police call from a man who said a rampaging bull was disturbing his peace and destroying his crops. So, the cops answered the call and tried ruthlessly to get the bull under control. After much effort they finally got the bull down. But, as any common cop would do after something had ruined and rampaged they threw it into jail! "Put that thing in the clanker!" And, along with that jail time they put a fine on him. The owner had to pay $400 dollars to get his crazy bull out. Hehe, I thought that was funny.

Also, another police call came in but this time not in Mexico, but America. Someone had presumably stolen a very expensive guitar from a well know guitar store. But, the guitar wasn't stolen but only by the stealer shoving it down his pants. Yep, thats right, he put it straight down his pants and pulled his shirt over it. I think its frankly their fault if they didn't realize a man coming in skinny and going out incredibly fat.

Anyways, lol. Thats my blogg for today.

To my sweetheart..

So, Im writing a blog about my... yep you guessed it.. my sweetheart. And yes.. it will be cheesy, so if you're not into cheese than you probably should not read this.

I really have realized, not just today, what the true meaning of complete unconditional love means for someone. When they do something wrong, anything in the world wrong, you just want to hug them and tell them you love them. I know maybe I haven't reached that completely yet, but I know its definitely something I feel every day.

So, I think I realized this after I watched the chick flick, 27 dresses. Because usually when you see a chick flick you feel kind of miserable afterwards thinking you don't have what that girl has. But, after I watched it, I felt like a million bucks! I have what she has! It was the greatest feeling in the world.

So, yah, for those that thought they could handle this much mooshy gooshy, you're probably gagging now, but don't worry, the moosh is about to be gooshed.

And so... lol I was going to talk about you know what...lol I cant even say it. But, I think thats illegal with this site, and for those who know me, I could much less think about it without blushing incredibly red, than write it. But sufficeth to say, Justin is a hottie. I think Sufficeth is a scripture word, you know the words that really aren't a word, but the scriptures have a way of making them up. Wow, now that was random, in the same paragraph as something completely and utterly different.

Anyways, well I better stop now, or else my face will seriously start to hurt with the redness and the blushing.

I love you sweetheart (Justin)

Why the aiken funny farm?....

Hi, so, this is my first blogging experience, but Jessica started it, so you can blame her if it stinks.
