You know those days when you want to try a different hair-do? Well today was one of those days. I went to church with my hair pulled back, (this is Sammie by the way, not Justin) and I put it in a messy bun. But the difference was I pulled it really high and there was no part in my hair. Anyways, the point is, trying new hair-do's makes you feel risky and hopeful. Especially when you don't use a mirror to try something new. :P
So, anyways, needless to say I really didn't like the end product. But, it's alright, it felt good to just throw all caution to the wind. I sound so dramatic, but I know pretty much every girl goes through the same feelings of adventure yet fear of being rejected or looked at funny. All I'm trying to say is, we shouldn't be too afraid to try doing our hair differently and throwing all caution to the wind. Maybe even go for a drive and just hang your hair out the window and let it decide what you'll look like today... never mind, not such a good idea when you live in Utah.. or Missouri (bug city).
Yeah, so, this is my blog for the day. I challenge every girl or guy to try something new with your look. Even if it doesn't work, and people stare at you with funny looks on their faces, oh well, you've just expressed yourself and that is worth everything and anything. :D

Yay for trying new things with your hair! I try to every so often, having long air makes for endless possibilities for new things to do with it. I am one for finding something that works and sticking with it, but I agree its great to try new things with it!! I did the other night before work and had a customer compliment me on it. :)
You girls are brave! I have 0 ability to style my hair up maybe someone can teach me. I agree though-the smallest thing I do makes me so excited/nervous to see what people say!
I would have liked to have seen your new 'do. Try dreadlocks next!
